By accessing or using this website or participating in any activity under the Volunteers Emergency Response Team (VERT) of the Society/Community, you (“the Volunteer” or “the User”) agree to the following terms.
All information, data, records, contact details, documents, and digital media available on this website or shared within VERT are confidential and proprietary. Unauthorized copying, downloading, transmitting, sharing, or disclosing of any data, member information, contact lists, images, or files is strictly prohibited.
Any misuse or attempt to manipulate or extract such data constitutes a violation under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable criminal laws. Misuse or unauthorized disclosure will be treated as a criminal offence and may result in prosecution.
The Website Owner, the Society/Community or the VERT Core Team shall not be held liable for any misuse or unauthorized access carried out by any user or third party. Responsibility for ethical and lawful use of information lies solely with the Volunteer/User.
In consideration of my desire to serve as a volunteer in VERT (Volunteers Emergency Response Team) of the Society/Community, I hereby assume all responsibility for any and all risks of damage, loss, or bodily injury that I may sustain while participating in any voluntary relief effort, disaster management activity, training exercise, or any related engagement, including the use of emergency equipment and facilities of the Society/Community.
Further, I, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge , the VERT Team and its officers, staff, office bearers, Executive Committee Members, VERT Founding Members, Core Team Members, and other Volunteer members from any and all claims, actions, or causes of action arising from or in connection with my participation in such voluntary efforts.
This release and indemnity agreement is intended to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in India; if any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
I certify that I currently have no known physical or mental condition that would impair my ability to participate fully as expected of a volunteer. I have carefully read this release and indemnity agreement, understand its contents, and agree to it voluntarily and of my own free will.
